i am a journalist, book critic, poet and cold war historian with research interests in nuclear issues and the koreas.
my journalistic career began in the arts beat and has detoured in politics and science coverage over the years. i've also worked in public diplomacy, diplomatic speechwriting on northeast asia, alliance management, and trade. i have served as an editor on a variety of editorial and other projects including ngo reports (EU externalities, sustainability, foreign policy, migration, international cooperation, arms trade) and history textbooks (korean war, economic development of south korea, south korea-us alliance).
